Please help
How would you work out these two questions?
1) Find the coefficient of x in the expansion of (x + 1/2x)^5
2) The coefficient of x^2 in the expansion of (1+x)^n is 36. Given that n is a positive integer find the value of n.
It would be awesome if someone could explain to me how to do these

Examples 2 and 3 in the Notes and Examples that I have just uploaded should help. I will try to get a worked solution to your specific questions ASAP. Binomial is one of the hardest C1 topics to master but when you see the patterens then it gets easier!
